Final Goodbye

Deranged Drifters MC Book 5

One piece of mail brings his whole world crumbling down…

When Brock Bradshaw receives the wedding invitation for Summer Griffin, he feels the stabbing pain of regret and despair. He gave up the love of his life years ago for her own good, and now he's staring at the wedding invitation sent with her name listed with another man. The only thing he can think of is that this is her final goodbye to him. It's really over.

Could the one that got away be in danger and in need of his help?

He's surprised when Sebastian Griffin, the richest man in Griffin's Beach who comes from the familial line the city is named after, walks into the clubhouse asking why Brock hasn't stopped the wedding yet. This man has hated him since the day he met him. Surely, he's mistaken with his ask of Brock.

When Sebastian says his daughter is only marrying Dennis Walker, the son of Sebastian's biggest rival and newest business partner, is to save him, Brock doesn’t know what to think. Her father says the last thing he wants is his daughter to be miserable, but she's too loyal to make the tough decision that may put him in harm’s way. That definitely sounds like the Summer he knows.

Lying has never been her strong suit, and his love will drive him to keep her safe, even if it means he puts himself in danger and defy his club…

Brock seeks out Summer to see for himself, and he immediately knows something is off. Not only does Dennis abuse her, he's intimidating her to get what he wants from her family. When she comes to the clubhouse, beaten and bruised, he knows he has to do something.

As he and Summer spend more and more time together, the wedding rapidly approaches. He can't seem to find a plan to help get her and her father away from the Walker men without getting one or both killed. After Psycho reaches out to someone familiar with the club, there's finally hope.

Can the club come together after so much mistrust?

Problems arise as Jennings Molloy, the President of the Deranged Drifters, fights back. He wants nothing to do with men who may put not only the club but their associates in the Feds' crosshairs, and he certainly doesn't want to be known as a club of bikers that moonlight as paid bodyguards. Turmoil in the club starts to hit its breaking point when the faith in their fearless leader starts to dwindle. He has the potential to lose everything, starting with his wife, who walks out and calls a lawyer.

Brock finds out something about Summer that raises the stakes even higher. But when dangerous men not only find her but kidnap her, his world starts to crumble. Can he stop the wedding of the woman he loves as her fiancé holds her at gunpoint? Will he find a way to keep not only Summer but Sebastian safe? Will he find his own happily ever after, or will he lose everything?
